HPP Kastaniotiko has an installed capacity of 1.95 MW and features two Turgo Impulse Twin Jet turbines (Gilkes).

HPP Pougiakia has an installed capacity of 850 kW and features two Pelton GU turbines (Gilkes).

Both installations include the power station and the water intake, equipped with PLCs, sensors, and water gates. The scope of the projects was the upgrade of automation systems and the optimization of Hydroelectric Power Stations’ operation.

EOS’s specialized engineers replaced the PLC systems with state-of-the-art Siemens equipment and installed a new SCADA WinCC application for monitoring and controlling the units, integrating all control elements. In addition to production optimization, a significant aspect of the project was the integration with the client’s central remote monitoring system, supporting high Cyber Security standards.
